Welcome
So why blogging?
I started to realize how impersonal social networking was becoming, and more importantly, it didn't provide any insight into the lives of others. All I could pretty much do was stalk friends on Facebook via pictures or comments and hope that they would return messages. Additionally, I was tired of having to do the perpetual 'catching up' conversation with anyone I hadn't spoke to in a while, so here is an effort to try and make ourselves more available and present to our families and friends who care about the goings-on in our lives (and not just our Facebook statuses). Here is a way to actively participate (or spectate) at the things we've been up to here in Maryland. I promise to post at least once a week and provide pictures or video as well. Happy blogging!

Yay Maheen!! We are so bad with phone calls and skype and all the other normal ways you are supposed to connect with people, but I always have a computer in front of me so we figured that its the easiest way to keep in touch with a bunch of people!
